Local Grown Organic Fresh Berries and Cherries at Farmers Market

Vancouver

West End Farmers Market (1100 Comox St)
Saturdays until October, 9am to 2pm

With over 30 vendors, this downtown Vancouver market offers fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and poultry, baked goods, artisan food and crafts, fresh fish, and even local craft beer, wine, and spirits. A quiet reprieve from the bustling city, this market is located next to Nelson Park, which has a playground and gated dog park.

Kitsilano Farmers Market (Kitsilano Community Centre)
Sundays until October, 10am to 2pm

This market in the laid back yet lively neighbourhood of Kitsilano boasts over 50 vendors, providing locally sourced produce, handmade crafts, and food trucks. Located next to a field and water park, this is a great option for families.

Trout Lake Farmers Market (Lakewood Dr & E 13th Ave)
Saturdays until October, 9am to 2pm

East Vancouver is home to a hidden gem: Trout Lake. With a 1.2km walking loop, an off-leash dog beach, and barbecue areas, it’s no wonder the market fits in with this community hub. Trout Lake Market has over 65 vendors– one of the biggest in Metro Vancouver– and is easily accessible by transit. It’s also one of the longest running farmers markets in the city: over 25 years and counting!

Burnaby

Burnaby Artisan Farmers Market (Burnaby City Hall)
Saturdays until October, 9am to 2pm

If you have plans to go to Burnaby Village Museum, I highly recommend visiting this market while you’re there. Popular vendors include artisan bakers, wild foragers, hot food service, live entertainment, artists and crafters. There are also great birdwatching opportunities in the area, especially at Deer Lake (also in the area).

Brentwood Artisan Farmers Market (Brentwood Blvd & Halifax Way)
Sundays until September, 10am to 2pm

Steps away from Brentwood Skytrain Station, this brand new market is in the perfect location. This market specializes in locally grown foods, farm products, and other locally made goods. You can also do more shopping, catch a movie, or grab dinner at Brentwood Mall (right next door!).
